What i did not know previously about Plagiarism?

When an educator takes the time to teach something to students that he/she sees as very important only to realize that a student plagiarized in their work can break a teacher's trust. This is was what stood out the most to me. Those educators have a level of respect for us to be honest in our work. It is easy to plagiarize and it can be done inevitably. I did not know how important quotations marks were in papers and that they did not exactly guarantee appropriate credit. We as students and scholars needs to pay more attention and perhaps have a class once a year dedicated to teaching students how to avoid plagiarism, this may also result in fewer students being kicked out of school for cheating.
